Autism is a disorder of the mind which manifests within the first two years of the birth of a child. The afflicted child would find it tough to communicate, would be shy and reticent and would have hardly any area of interest. Boys can get affected by autism three times more than girls and its causes are still unknown while many attribute the reasons as hereditary. As good as sugar, stevia is a South American herb now found easily in all health stores. Since an autistic child can never do without help and guidance, the treatment continues lifelong. Hardly any patient suffering from autism can live by himself, though some have displayed some amazing traits. The transition from the school yard to the work place is beyond most autistic people mainly because of their naivety.
